Carla Calizo

Carla Calizo (10.23.1964 - 10.01.2024)

 Carla Calizo, 59, of Norwalk, California, passed away in Whittier on October 1st, 2024. Carla was born on Beale AFB to Carlos and Mary Ann Montoya on October 23rd, 1964. Carla lived in Los Angeles County for almost her entire life. 

Carla met and began going steady with David in 1982 and married five years later in 1987. During their 42 year relationship they had three children: Nicole, Michael and Joshua. 

In 1993, Carla retired to be a stay at home mom and homemaker to her, at the time, two children. She spent her time watching over her kids, volunteering at their schools, singing them lullaby's, reading them books, and being the best mom ever. In 2002, she was blessed with her youngest and was overjoyed to have another little one in the house again. 

In recent years, she enjoyed spending time in the company of her family, listening to their stories, reading aloud to them, doing puzzles with them and scrolling social media to see all the positive goings on in all her friends lives. 

Carla was predeceased by her parents Carlos and Mary Ann. 

She is survived by her husband David and her children: Nicole (Angel) , Michael, and Joshua; Her sisters: Tina (Alfonso), Suzette (Al), and Michelle (Richard); Her nephew Devan, cousins, aunts and uncles, as well as many more much loved nieces, nephews, and brothers and sisters in laws on David’s side of the family.
