Herminia Sousa

Herminia Sousa, born on October 2, 1930, in Altares, Terceira, Azores, passed away on October 6,2024, in Downey, California. She was 94 years old.

Herminia was a beloved sister and aunt, cherished by her family and friends. She is survived by her siblings Francisco, Manuel, Joao, and Lucia, along with her dear niece Elizabeth Rhey.  Herminia was preceded in death by her husband, Manuel Dias Sousa, and her son, Manuel S. Sousa, whose memories she carried with her lovingly.

Her life will be honored with a viewing at Chapel Of Memories Funeral Home located at 12626 Woods Avenue, Norwalk, California, on October 17, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will follow on October 18, 2024, beginning at 10:00 AM, also at Chapel Of Memories Funeral Home. Herminia's interment will take place later that day at All Souls Cemetery, 4400 Cherry Avenue, Long Beach, California, at 12:00 PM.

Herminia Sousa will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Her legacy will remain in the hearts of her family and friends.
