Imelda Soto Miramontes

Imelda Soto Miramontes, a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away on September26, 2024, in Whittier, California. Born on April 28, 1942, in Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico, Imelda lived a life full of love, dedication and warmth that touched the hearts of many.

Imelda was a devoted wife to her husband, Raul Miramontes. Together, they created a loving home where their family could thrive.  Imelda is survived by her son, Omar Miramontes, and her two daughters, Zaida Miramontes and Monica Varela. Imelda was proud of her role as a grandmother to Katheryn, Julia, and Hector Maximus, and her grandchildren were a constant source of joy and pride in her life.

The family will honor her memory with a series of services. A viewing will be held on October 3, 2024, from 4:30 PM to 8:00 PM, with the Rosary being prayed for Imelda at 6:00 PM, both taking place at Chapel Of Memories Funeral Home, located at 12626 Woods Avenue in Norwalk, California. The following day, a Mass will be celebrated in her honor at St. John of God Catholic Church, starting at 10:00 AM, with interment to follow at Little Lake Cemetery at 11:30 AM.

Imelda Soto Miramontes will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of love and strength that will forever be cherished in the hearts of those she touched.
