Israel was born in Zacatecas, Mexico on December 10, 1971 to Jose and Cesaria Marquez and was raised in Inglewood, CA. He passed away at the age of 50 on December 31, 2021 in Anaheim, CA.
After high school he briefly worked as a Bellman at the Hotel Bel Air and then moved on to work in construction. He was a Labor Foreman and worked on projects for Penhall, Northstar and Ferma. He was a great leader and was liked by everyone.
He was a huge Dallas Cowboys football fan and enjoyed attending their practice sessions with his family and watching the games. Israel also loved music and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his two sons, Israel Jr. and Justin, his father Jose, 1 brother, 6 sisters and an abundance of nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother, Cesaria.
A vigil for Israel will be held on Friday, January 14, 2022 , 5:00pm - 8:00pm at
Chapel of Memories 12626 Woods Ave. Norwalk, CA 90650.
A Catholic mass will take place on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at 10:00am at St. John Catholic Church 546 E. Florence Ave. Inglewood, followed by the internment and final resting place at Inglewood Park Cemetery, Mausoleum: Sanctuary of Angels
