James is survived by his father Francisco Rivas, III, his mother Vivian Leidelmeijer (Richard Leidelmeijer), his brother Hans Leidelmeijer, sister Naomi Rivas, sister Tine Santa Ana, brother Anthony Santa Ana, step-sisters Linda Lagmay, Andrea Leidelmeijer, and Rosalina Watkins as well as his grandparents Janet Rivas, Francisco Rivas Jr., Esther Rivas and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
