Janie Lugo

Janie Lugo was born in Artesia, California on August 19, 1947. Daughter of Pete and Socorro Aragon. Married to Raymond Lugo for 59 years. Beloved mother of 4 and grandmother of 9. Janie peacefully went to be with our Lord October 13, 2024.

She worked for Dealer Forms as a bookkeeper for 20 years. She later worked in the product development department of Shaw Industries before retiring at 62. She went on to fulfill her greatest accomplishment of looking after her grandchildren. As her grandchildren grew and became adults, she found something new. The last years of her life she helped her daughter build a sourdough Micro-bakery business. She baked the most cherished dessert in the bakery, the Pistachio Cardamom loaf, every week. 

Those left to cherish her memory include her beloved husband Raymond Lugo and children; Daughter Michelle Meza, Son Ray Lugo Jr., Son David Lugo, and daughter Karen Quinones. 

Memorial service will be held on October 26, 2024 at 10am. Chapel of Memories 12626 Woods Ave. Norwalk, CA 90650. 

Will be most remembered for the love for her family, and her great faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. Our Mother always put others before herself. Her greatest joy was being a grandmother.
