Joan was born in Phoenix, Arizona and at the age of 83 passed away in Brea, CA. She was a homemaker, a loving foster parent and she is survived by her children, Sharon Taylor, Robert Devylder, Cheryl Devylder and Chrystal Wallace. 10 Grandchildren, 8 Great Grandchildren and her siblings Susan Wilson and Richard Smith.
