Jose H Soares

Jose H. Soares, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away September 26, 2024 at the age of 81, in Artesia, California. Born on November 23, 194, in Biscoitos, Terceira, Azores, Portugal, Jose lived a life rich with love, dedication and unwavering commitment to his family.

Jose was the proud father of George Soares, Ana Blas, and Melissa Vergara, and a loving grandfather to five cherished grandchildren.

Jose's legacy lives on through his loved ones, who will carry forward the lessons he taught them about love, perseverance, and the importance of family bonds.

For those wishing to pay their respects, viewing services will be held on October 7, 2024, at Chapel of Memories Funeral Home in Norwalk, California, from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM, with the Rosary being prayed for Jose at 10:30 AM.  The funeral liturgy will follow at 11:00 AM, leading to interment at Artesia Cemetery, where Jose will be laid to rest at 12:30 PM.

Jose H. Soares will be deeply missed, but his spirit will forever remain in the hearts of all who had the honor of knowing him.
