Maria was born in Agualva, Terceira, Azores and at the age of 89 she passed away in Tulare, California. Maria is survived by her loving children Joe G. Ourique (Fatima), Ana Borba (Frank), Mary Ortiz, Odelia Davis (John), Carlos Ourique, Emily Tankarian (Manuel), and Mary Jane Pinheiro, 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and her sister Benilde Vieira.
