Ramona De La Rosa

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ramona De La Rosa, born in Corona, California, on January 30, 1934. A long-time resident of Whittier, she was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. Ramona peacefully passed away on January 7, 2025. Her life was one filled with love, faith, sacrifice, and an unwavering commitment to those she cherished most.

Ramona was born to Raymond and Guadalupe “Lupe” Zaragoza, she was one of nine children. She was preceded in death by her parents and several siblings, including Emily, Charlotte, Mike, and Peter. Surviving siblings include Joe, Sara, Lillian, and Mary Ruby.

On September 27, 1952, Ramona married Richard De La Rosa, who passed away in 2014. They shared a deep and enduring love that lasted more than six decades.
