Rene was born in Sonora, Mexico and at the age of 82 he passed away at home in Cerritos, California. Rene is survived by his loving wife Magdalena, children Julio Gudino III (Denise), Dina Martins (Joe), Aaron Gudino (Marcela), and Alex Gudino, and his grandchildren Ariana, Christian, Victoria, Lucas, Ana Belen, Diego, and Gabriel.
