Sammy Lara
October 8, 1927 — September 15, 2018
Sammy was born in Fort Worth, Texas where he later enlisted and served in the United States Army and at the age of 90 he passed away in Norwalk, California. He is survived by his children Victor Lara (Shirley), Arthur Lara, Patricia Lara Pena (Art), and Maria "Christy" Lara, 10 Grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and his siblings Tony Lara (Connie), Frances Shinneman, Dolores Equihua and Alice Lesniak (Paul). He was preceded in death by his wife Consuela Lara, his sons Robert and Daniel Lara, mother Jenny Manriquez, and his brother in law Sal.
